Each show has a different set of vendors, some shows at the Tucson Gem Show have hundreds of vendors while others have just a few. How do you buy wholesale at the Tucson Gem Show?

To buy wholesale at the Tucson Gem Show, you must have a valid wholesale or resale certificate form the state your business is registered in. Buy wholesale allows you to purchase goods that you plan to re-sell without paying taxes to the vendor you buy them from. A business license is not the same as a resale license. Here are some of the names of resale licenses in different states:

If you are looking to buy at "wholesale prices" you can often get great deals at the show whether or not you have a resale license! Many vendors are direct sellers, which means they do not have to go through a middle-man to sell their goods, which means prices are almost always lower than you would find them in a retail store for jewelry and gem decor. Vendors also often additional discounts for business owners or for buying in bulk.

How do I know the wholesale price at the Tucson Gem Show?

Many vendors obscure their wholesale prices as to not confuse guests shopping for themselves. Wholesale prices are usually only available to buyers who own a business, or who are buying in large quantities meant for resale. There are different ways of showing wholsale prices on tags: some vendors use color coding, some vendors use a letters-to-numbers system, some vendors use a code or SKU, and some vendors do not place the wholesale price on the product at all and you have to ask them to find out wholesale pricing.

How do I exhibit at the Tucson Gem Show?

Each show during the Tucson Gem Show has a different process for exhibiting in a booth at their show. Exhibiting during the shows is not free, and booth prices range from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars depending on the venue and the quality of the show. Some shows allow you to aply to exhibit on their website, while others require you to email or call about exhibiting.

The JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show has sold out of indoor space, please apply to exhibit if you are interested in reserving a place at one of the biggest shows at the Tucson Expo Center.

Tucson Gem Show Shuttles

What shuttles are available during the Tucson Gem Show?

There are many free shuttles available during the Tucson Gem Show. The city of Tucson offers four free shuttles called the GemRide shuttles that travel to almost all the shows and large parking structures in Tucson. These shuttle routes are the Kino Gem Loop near the airport, the Downtown Gem Loop, the Mineral & Fossil Loop north of downtown, and the Casino Del Sol loop.

Many of the individual shows also offer additional shuttles, for example the JOGS Show offers a free limo shuttle for registered buyers between the JOGS Show and AGTA Show, and there is a show-sponsored shuttle that travels between the biggest shows near the airport called the Copper Shuttle. Some hotels also independently offer shuttles to nearby shows or to the airport and we are working on a list of which hotels offer shuttles during the Tucson Gem Show!

Is there a shuttle from my hotel during the Tucson Gem Show?

Most hotels do not offer a free shuttle to the Tucson Gem Show shows. However, some hotels do, and here is a list of hotels that offer shuttles during the Tucson Gem Show.
