Winter 2026 Tucson Gem Show Application

To apply to exhibit at our upcoming event, please follow these instructions:

  1. Click on the red “Download PDF” button to download and open the PDF file that contains the exhibit application and contract, along with the booth prices and other important information about reserving a booth.
  2. Review the information in the PDF file carefully to determine the booth size and location that best fits your needs.
  3. Complete the application and contract form and ensure that all required information is filled in accurately and completely.
  4. Submit the completed form along with any additional required documentation via email to info@jogsshow.com
  5. If you prefer to apply online, you can also click on the “Apply Online” button and follow the prompts to submit your application and reserve a spot.
  6. Once your application has been received and processed, we will confirm your booth reservation and provide you with further instructions and details for the event.

  • Set daily leads and goals

  • Price your items. A buyer is more likely to consider a wholesale item if it has a price attached to it
  • Give yourself enough time to set up/disassemble the booth
  • Make sure your debit/credit card machines work properly before the show
  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Wear layers, weather changes rapidly
  • Rent your car and hotel prior arriving to the JOGS Gem and Jewelry Show
  • Ship your merchandise upfront, if you are not bringing it with you
  • Keep your booth clean and organized
  • Have “show specials”. Highlight special offers that guests can get at the Show only

All JOGS Shows feature heavy security for our exhibitors, but with over 40,000 buyers at the Show its in your best interests to keep your booth and merchandise safe. The Tucson Gem Show is a place that thieves know is an “easy target” due to the thousands of exhibitors coming during a short period of time, so keep yourself and your merchandise safe while travelling to and from the Show with these tips.

Safety Tips

  1. Collaborate with other dealers to travel together in a group.
  2. Never be alone.
  3. Get insurance for your merchandise and for your travel plans.
  4. Do not put all your valuable merchandise in one bag.

Driving to the Show

  1. Do not stop for gas. Fill your tank fully before you leave.
  2. Do not stop for food. Pack food for the journey, avoid restaurants and drive-ins – anywhere your car will be stopped for more than a few seconds.
  3. Do not stop to fix a flat tire.
  4. Do not stop if your car is hit.
  5. Do not park in parking garages. Use valet service to park your car in hotels. Do not leave merchandise in your car.

Flying to the Show

  1. Do not go through security alone. Hire security to escort you if possible.
  2. Do not lose site of your bag going through security, especially the X-ray machine.
  3. Do not put your bag down. Hold on to it at all times. Do not walk away from it.

Hotel Safety

  1. Do not leave merchandise alone in your hotel room, not even in the safe.
  2. Do not trust your valuables with the hotel lobby front desk.
  3. When you are in the hotel room, store your valuables in the room safe, and use the door bolt or chain to lock the door. Valuables that do not fit in the safe should be kept in zipped cases with the zippers locked closed, and kept near your bed rather than open on the floor.

Other Travel Tips

  1. Do not put down your bag in the restroom.
  2. Do not drink alcohol if you are the one responsible for watching your merchandise.
  3. Do not share a taxi.

Beware of marketing offers from Construct Data (The Fair Guide) and similar companies – the offers look official and the invoices appear legitimate, but they are not.

Dear exhibitors, it has come to our attention that Expo Guide, S.C. of Mexico (aka the Fair Guide) has been targeting JOGS Gem and Jewelry Show Exhibitors requesting company data updates for an online directory.

By using a form similar to our free catalog listing with J.O.G.S. name, this group is offering advertising space on their Fair Guide (www.fairguide.com) and/or Expo Guide (www.expo-guide.com) websites. If an exhibitor signs the advertising agreement, they can be locked into a non-terminable contract at a significant cost. If you receive a document with J.O.G.S. name on it, please contact our office to confirm it is not a scam.

Please be cautious of unauthorized housing companies or travel services claiming to offer discounted rates or special deals on hotel bookings for our event. These unauthorized entities may falsely represent themselves as official partners of the show.

To ensure your safety and protect against any fraudulent activities, we strongly advise you NOT to use any expo housing services other than those listed on our official website. The only legitimate and reliable source for booking hotels and travel arrangements related to our event is through our authorized channels.

If you encounter any suspicious or unauthorized solicitations related to accommodation or travel arrangements, please report them to our team immediately at info@jogsshow.com. Your vigilance helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

During this time of year, we often see a surge in impersonation scams. Your safety is our priority, so please take a moment to learn how to identify and avoid these scams:

Never Pay Over the Phone: Be cautious if someone asks you to make payments over the phone, especially for show-related services.

Beware of False Urgency: Scammers often create a sense of urgency to pressure you into making quick decisions. Take your time to verify any offers.

Verify Email Addresses and Websites: Only trust emails from JOGS Tucson Show with the official email addresses info@jogsshow.com or jogsshow@gmail.com. Be cautious of suspicious websites, such as travel www.dynamixbizservices.com (known scammer).

JOGS Privacy Policy: Rest assured that JOGS never sells or shares customer data with anyone. Your information is safe with us.

Please be aware of fraudulent offers claiming to sell a “JOGS Buyer List” or “JOGS Attendee List.” These offers are scams.

Here’s how to determine if an offer is legitimate:

Check for JOGS Branding: Legitimate offers will have the JOGS branding.

Confirm the Sender: Ensure the email is from JOGS Tucson Show at info@jogsshow.com or jogsshow@gmail.com.

Verify the Facts: Ensure the information in the email is accurate.

Permits, Licenses & Taxes

Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) – Special Events License

Who Needs a License?

All exhibitors at the JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show must have an Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) License to legally make sales at the event.
The TPT license works like a sales tax permit, but in Arizona, it is referred to as a “Transaction Privilege Tax” license.

First-Time Exhibitors

If you have never exhibited in Tucson before:

Returning Exhibitors

If you have exhibited in Arizona before:

  • You may reinstate your license by sending a copy of your existing Arizona TPT license to ADOR along with a note requesting reinstatement.

License Fees

  • The cost is $12 per location (for the year).
  • No separate Tucson City license is needed because the JOGS Tucson Show is held outside Tucson city limits.

TPT License Validity & Suspension

Arizona TPT licenses remain valid indefinitely as long as you keep ADOR informed of your business status.

If you only exhibit in Arizona once per year, you can temporarily suspend your license to avoid monthly filing requirements:

  1. When completing and returning your Arizona TPT Tax Form after the show, write across the top:
    “Suspend License until [next year you plan to exhibit]”
  2. This pauses your reporting obligations until you resume sales in Arizona.

If you do not suspend the license, ADOR will continue to send monthly tax return forms, and you will be required to file them—even if you have no sales in Arizona.

May be exempt from TPT if they provide a valid Resale Certificate (AZ Form 5000 or equivalent from another state). You must keep this on file for audit purposes.

Individual Buyers (Show Guests)

You must collect the full TPT rate on sales.

  • Current combined TPT rate: 8.7% (as of 2025)
    • State of Arizona: 5.6%

Safe Rental Order Form

To help protect your merchandise during the show, JOGS offers secure on-site safe rentals through our official provider, Rolland Tradeshow Company.

Exhibitors wishing to rent a safe must complete and submit the 2026 Advance Safe Rental Order Form. The form collects your exhibiting company details, booth number(s), on-site contact information, and preferred safe model. Multiple safe sizes and security ratings are available. We strongly recommend that exhibitors consult their insurance provider before selecting a safe to ensure it meets their coverage requirements.

Key details to note:

  • Full payment is required at the time of submission

  • Safe confirmation and receipt will be sent to the email address listed on the form

  • Safes are installed in your booth prior to exhibitor move-in

  • Orders submitted after January 2, 2026 will incur a $100 late fee

  • Any changes to booth number, safe model, or placement must be emailed directly to Rolland Tradeshow Company

  • Safes must be emptied at the close of the show; storage after show hours is not permitted

Rolland Tradeshow Company does not provide insurance coverage for items stored in the safe. All exhibitors are responsible for insuring their own merchandise and assume full liability for contents and any damage to the safe while in their booth.

Please be advised that JOGS International Exhibits does not provide insurance coverage for exhibitors and is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, theft, injury, or claims arising from an exhibitor’s participation in the JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show, including merchandise, equipment, or personnel.

For the protection of your business and inventory, JOGS strongly recommends that all exhibitors obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their participation in the show, including move-in and move-out periods.

When purchasing insurance, exhibitors are strongly encouraged to request that their policy name JOGS International Exhibits, LLC as Additional Insured, where applicable.

Exhibitors should consult directly with their insurance provider or broker to obtain information regarding appropriate coverage types and limits suitable for their business and trade show participation.

Sellers Using Commercial Scales

If your merchandise is sold by weight, it is vital to ensure that your scale(s) are NTEP approved and registered with the Arizona Department of Weights and Measures (AZDWM). To understand the requirements better, please refer to their Small Scale Brochure v4.0. AZDWM will conduct unannounced visits at the show, and any scales not licensed by the AZDWM and/or lacking NTEP approval are subject to confiscation.

    • If a forklift is required for load-in or load-out, it is strongly recommended to order it in advance to be placed in the service queue and avoid longer on-site wait times
    • Tucson Expo Center staff and the JOGS Show team will NOT accept or store packages shipped prior to exhibitor arrival; such deliveries will be refused

USPS Shipping Policy for JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show

USPS mail carriers do not deliver directly to exhibitor booths inside the Tucson Expo Center during the JOGS Show.

For deliveries during the event, please use UPS or FedEx, which can deliver directly to exhibitor booths during show hours.

  • All shipping and handling fees are charged by GSL Forwarding or your chosen carrier, not by the JOGS Show
    • To avoid delays, confirm all shipment arrangements in advance and use the exact address formats provided
    • Order forklifts early to reduce wait times during move-in and move-out
